What Is the LenSx® Femtosecond Laser?
The LenSx® laser uses ultra-short pulses of light — a quadrillionth of a second — to precisely cut tissue with no heat, no blade, and no mechanical pressure. It creates the incisions, softens the lens, and assists with lens fragmentation before the surgeon removes the cataract.
