Dr. Vincent A. Restivo, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist, a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and was at one time the President of the Austin Ophthalmologic Society. Dr. Restivo specializes in Laser Cataract Surgery, LASIK Surgery, LASEK Surgery, and PRK Surgery, along with other advanced methods of vision correction in Austin, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Georgetown and surrounding areas.
After completing his medical training, Dr. Restivo joined a private practice based in Round Rock, Texas, where he refined his skills as a leading eye surgeon and eye care specialist. Today, he proudly serves his patients as the chief medical physician at Restivo Eye.
A native of Boston, he began his education at Holy Cross College in Worcester, Mass where he received a B.A. in Biology. Following a research fellowship at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute at Harvard University, he earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1997.
Dr. Restivo completed his internship in Internal Medicine through Boston University before returning to Houston to complete his residency in Ophthalmology through the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 2001.
Dr. Restivo and his wife, Heidi, live in Austin and enjoy spending time with their sons Maddox and Liam, and their two dogs, Anna and Sadie.
