Nathan E. Osterman, O.D.

Nathan E. Osterman, O.D. is a certified glaucoma specialist and therapeutic optometrist in the state of Texas. Originally from Columbus, Ohio Dr. Osterman attended The Ohio State University for his undergraduate degree, majoring in zoology with a minor in alternative approaches to health and wellness.

He then received his optometry degree in 2015 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Following his graduation, he continued his studies with a residency focused on ocular disease at the John R. Dingell V.A. in Detroit, Michigan.

In his free time, Dr. Osterman is an avid cyclist and gardener. He enjoys exploring Austin and getting out on the water to swim or fish. Every winter, you’ll find him in Colorado, snowboarding the double black diamonds. Dr. Osterman lives in Hyde Park in the company of his Manx cat Mazzy and a freshwater fish tank.
