Chelsea Devitt, OD, FAAO

Dr. Chelsea Devitt has been practicing as a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist in Austin since 2018.  Her passion involves pre- and post-operative care, and ocular disease management including corneal disease, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye and glaucoma.  Dr. Devitt honed her clinical skills by pursuing an optometric residency in refractive and ocular surgery and ocular disease at Georgia Eye Partners in Atlanta, while concurrently completing a clinical fellowship through the American Academy of Optometry.  Prior to moving to Texas, she grew up on a family farm in rural Ohio and attended The Ohio State University. She was accepted into the biological sciences scholars program, majoring in biology and minoring in business.  Completing her Bachelors in 2013, she then completed her post graduate work earning a Doctorate of Optometry from The OSU College of Optometry in 2017.

In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball, traveling, hiking with her dog, Pippin, and trying new restaurants around Austin.
